The fi'zi:k brand was born in 1996 - a high-end bicycle saddle line - designed in the USA and handmade in Italy by the world's largest saddle manufacturer. Fi'zi:k is the phonetic spelling of the word "physique" - referring to the form or state of the human body.

The handmade production process combined with the utilization of high-tech, high-quality materials defines fi'zi:k brand manufacturing. Each and every saddle passes through a step by step, manual assembly operation. The cover is carefully stretched over the saddle, the titanium rail precisely inserted into the shell, and the saddle is meticulously cleaned and packaged by hand. One tiny flaw, invisible to the average eye, means the saddle is rejected. But it is this painstaking effort that gives fi'zi:k the quality, elegance and style that is recognised worldwide. By simple definition, it isjust a bicycle seat, but through a labour of passion and detail it is likened to a fine tailor-made suit.
